Otí the Tiger is a series of action platformer video games developed in Barradiwa and released between 1985 and 2015 on various gaming systems worldwide. The games feature a tiger named Otí (short for Otímsu, a given name in Ekuostian) who travels throughout a variety of kingdoms with different themes, often attempting to rescue the local monarch from the clutches of his manipulative arch-nemesis, Gíb the Gorilla.
Combined sales figures indicate that the series as a whole has sold over 300 million copies as of September 2015, giving it the status of being the best-selling video game series in history. The character of Otí himself is a household name in a large number of countries, and in 2005 he was rated as the 3rd most recognizable character in all of media.
