Puulsuwa (IPA: /pu:lsuwə/, Achiyitqan: Puulsüwa /pu:lsʉwa/, Vodholk (something else im sure)), officially the Achiyitqan Western Territory, is the westernmost territory of Achiyitqana located on the north coast of Miraria, bordered by TBD and the north sea.

Etymology

Puulsuwa is Achiyitqan for "West-place."

History

Puulsuwa was part of the independent country of Tesktoso'et until its merger with Achiyitqana in 2009.

Geography

Puulsuwa is almost entirely comprised of low, flat tundra, with some small mountains on its northern peninsula that host small permanent ice caps.

Climate

It is extremely cold in the winter and has a brief cool summer.

Biodiversity

Puulsuwa has limited biodiversity due to its extreme latitude. It is inhabited almost exclusively by mammals, migratory birds, and small, hardy plants. There are no trees and agriculture is severely limited. The largely-vodholk populace depends on hunting, whaling, sealing, and domesticated reindeer for sustenance.
