Qifano, officially the Kavrinh Republic of Qifano (Gxáatxásaa: Xhájaaláa Gudxeháyi Kihanáaguu [ᵏǃʰáɟaːláː gɯᶢǂexáji kixanáːgɯ́ː]) is a Kavrinh-dominated republic located within the continent of Boroso, and is one of three Borosan nations founded by Kavs. Qifano is a landlocked country within the Vaamekian desert in Central Boroso. Most of the Txhaga mountain range is within the borders of the country, where evidence of early Kavrinh societies have been found dating to the early 2nd Millennia BCE. The first Kavs are believed to have entered the areas of modern Qifano sometime in the 3rd or 4th Millennia BCE by migrating Vaamekian Kav groups, though most of these groups were non-sedentary and likely practiced either pastoral or hunter-gatherer lifestyles.

Qifano is one of the lesser developed countries within Boroso, with much of the country's economy still reliant on agriculture and mining. Much of the population is rural though this has seen a shift towards urbanization since the 1990s where there has been a 24% increase of population centers, not excluding that of the capital Dxaakóogéeyi. Much of the country's politics is centered around anti-Human sentiments as Upper Borosans have since migrated into the country's current borders since the 9th Century, where tensions and hostilities have existed since as Human and Dalar peoples are excluded from the country's politics, much to the protest of neighboring countries. Since 1988, there has been an ongoing insurgency not unrelated to the special tensions between Kavs and Human-Dalar groups seeking independence or international recognition in the eastern regions of the country.

Much of the country has since struggled to modernize the economy as one of Qifano's most vital regions has been occupied by insurgents in the east, while military factionalism threatens the fabric of its democracy. Many of these struggles seem unavoidable in the near future as the government attempts to garner internal and external assistance, despite the special segregation that has been ongoing since before its first foundings. In addition to the problems of special tensions, the large youth population and looming economic crises threatens much of the nation with collapse as it struggles to balance its military-industrial complex with the limited industrialization available.
