Riyana, officially the Riyan Republic (Riyan: Telstáil Riánar /ˈtɛlstal rʲanɐr/), is a unitary parliamentary sovereign state in Soltenna. It is located between Lake Soltenna and the Amiyant Sea, within the relatively flat plains of the Central Basin. Riyana shares land borders with Naea, Kadya, and Quaycain and maritime borders with Xynderland and Zaizung.
Within its 281,001 square kilometres (108,495 sq mi) of land, Riyana has a population of 77 million, which is Soltenna's 4th and world's 13th largest, 14 million of which live in the capital Cuáma and its neighboring cities of Greater Cuáma Area. The large majority of them are Riyans in addition to smaller populations of Nguon and Merish people.
Much of the country revolves around the Acre and Cuáma River, collectively dubbed the Central Rivers. The river valley has been known to be a cradle of civilization where ancient kingdoms such as the First Dynasty of Acre and the Wa Dynasty – found to be dated back to as far as the 4th millennium BCE – originate. Rietic peoples also originate from this river valley. Due to its strategic location and high agricultural output Riyana has seen many individual kingdoms ruling the region with some attempting to conquer the river valley as a whole. In the 19th century the lands that comprise modern-day Riyana were finally unified under the rule of (nameson). In 1940, the nation fell under the occupation of the Kyenese Empire, with its entire territory reorganized as the Ancestral Realm of the Kyenese Empire. The nation existed in the form of the Riyan Republic Government-in-exile from 1940 to 1949, before being incorporated into Riyan Provisional Government. It maintained an active struggle against the Kyenese through its armed branch, the Riyan Armed Resistance throughout the war.
With a nominal GDP of $1.6 trillion (2015), Riyana's economy is characterized by its technology companies, large military industry and in recent years, proliferation of Riyan startups. (Rennela) – located north of the capital Cuáma – has been dubbed Silicon Mountain as the city hosts headquarters of many high-tech Riyan companies. Riyana is a member of Fordas and the Soltennan Council.

Riyana relies heavily on renewable energy to provide power to its homes and businesses. As of 2013, 79% of electricity was generated via hydroelectric, wind and solar power. This is largely part of a plan set out by Riyana in 2002, which aimed to have Riyana non-reliant upon fossil fuels for its electricity by 2016. So far, it has been very successful. The Riyan government is now also talking about shutting down nuclear power plants, which make up another 14% of electricity production, in favour of building more renewable energy sources.
