Through her coronation in (year, 15th Century) she became the first woman to directly rule over a Gushli state, defying the established patriarchical ruling class. Controversies

Much controversy surrounds Tameghze's behaviour as Great Khan, with contemporary sources decrying her as a sinner and her practises as "deviant". To what extent claims in these sources are valid is still unknown. It has been confirmed, for example, that she hosted numerous male concubines in her palace, while subjects of continued debate include whether she threatened members of her court with membership in this harem should they have referred to her as hagena (a gendered form of hak "khan"), or whether she engaged in devious sexual practises with these concubines.

Kabkash Empire

After conquering the Kingdom of Lezethe (located in what is now southern Gushlia) and seizing control of its capital Bandigus, Tameghze declared the Kabkash Empire. Seeking to capitalise on trade routes through the Prime Corridor, she aimed to improve relations with the Iovist states of Ekuosia. Through these connections, the first handcannons were introduced to the Kabkash Empire, making it the first Vaniuan power to acquire the technology.

Kabkash treasuries and arsenals were raided by the victorious coalition, and the handcannons that had given the Kabkash Empire its advantage were appropriated by them, spreading the technology through the rest of Vaniu.

Legacy

Tameghze's reign is said to have sewn the seeds of egalitarianism and gender equality in Gushlia. After the formation of the first modern Gushli state in (year), Gushlia became one of the first(?) countries in the region to introduce universal suffrage for women, later granting women equal work rights in industry in (year), during the build-up to the Great Ekuosian War.

Under Kuulist rule, women were empowered across the Union of Shomosvan, whose ruling Shomosvan People's Front deviated from their typical ideological opposition of monarchism to capitalise on Tameghze's legacy, touting her as a feminist icon.
