part of the Smaa River delta
|Native name||Smaa Moy|
|Etymology||From Nuar Sē̃ Mah ("Long River")|
|River mouth||Woĝ Lake|
Whatever country is south of Qgam
The river was originally known as Sē̃ Mah in the Nuar Language, which simply meant "long river". This name was distorted as it was borrowed into Qgam Dzwo. The Qgam name "Smaa Moy" is thus redundant, as it literally means "long-river river".
