The Sopum Commonwealth (Soptenese: jolnemvạtạ soptụm [joɹnemβɑtɑ soptʊm]), was a political entity located in the region of Soltenna in Miraria where Soptemia is now located
Etymology
"Soptum" comes from the proto-Masic 'Säpi' meaning ‘log’, used to describe central and western Soptemia, due to the forested nature of the area.
History
The breakup of the Alotol Confederacy resulted in a power vacuum that spawned the increased Anakluan influence that brought about the creation of the Soptum Commonwealth. The member states of the Soptum Commonwealth were later united into a single state, the Kingdom of Soptemia in 1874.

Administrative divisions
The Soptum Commonwealth was founded containing the sovereign states of Anaklua, Sobey, Cada, Cvadon and Limisti. It would later include Upper Josil and Sfeilrub, after they split from Cvadon and Cada respectively. While all states were theoretically equal, Anaklua exerted control and influence over all other members, and the King of Anaklua was the de-facto leader.
