The Last of Sahar is an award-winning megahit Lenezi television programme. It is a Lenezi dystopian science fiction drama television series that premiered on multiple networks and streaming services such as Vaniu Ent, depicting a parallel universe in which Sahar tumbled into a World War after years of international tensions building up, economic depression, climate crisis, and a recent pandemic which rocked the world. After the planet suffered nuclear warfare, as well as three antimatter bombs dropping on the cities of Nögrëyaa, Jikhein, and Gshons, most of civilization as we know it collapse and the beginning of the end occurs. It was created by famous television writer Grantfe Seikas and is produced by Vaniua Entertainment, Hefevam Pictures, Surgavry Studios, Yonemi Productions. This series is based on E.K Zozakava's 2009 novel of the same name. This is known internationally as one of the most expensive TV shows to ever be produced. It has managed to accumulate a large fanbase over the years and has become the most widely viewed television show in Vaniua and Parshita. It was also ranked as the second most viewed television show in Miraria behind X. It garnered roughly around 12-20 million people each week to tune in on every episode since its inception.
The pilot premiered in July 2014, and Vaniua Entertainment ordered an eleven-episode season the following month which was released in November of 2015. The second season of eleven episodes premiered in May 2016, and a third season was released on September 4th, 2018. The fourth and final season premiered on November 14th, 2020.
The Last of Sahar received positive reviews and several awards, including 33 Primetime Emmy Award nominations(9 of them ending in them getting the award), including for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor for Denşem, and Outstanding Lead Actress for Lemicogo. The show also earned nine Golden Sahar Award nominations, with Lemicogo winning for Best Actress – Television Series Drama in 2016 and Denşem winning for Best Actor – Television Series Drama in 2018. The television program was continuously acclaimed as one of the best shows in the history of television. The strong performances, excellent cinematography, surehanded direction, and a number of other aspects of the show continued to bolster its popularity over the latter years of the 2010s.
