Tynda (IPA: /'tɪ̈n.də/; Tynda, Тынъда; Yaharan: Tÿndä /ˈtyn.dɑ/, Yennodorian: Tyndēni /ˈtyn.dø̃ːɪ/) is a city located along the northern banks of the river Yahara. It is the capital of the Duchy of Tynda, and is one of the oldest and most densely populated regions of Yaxarhayut. It is the industrial heartland of the nation, thanks to its ability to transport goods via the river, as well as its access to coal and other materials in the foothills of the mountains above it. It is sometimes called Lower Tynda, in contrast to its Paryaharan counterpart, Upper Tynda. Thanks to its industrial nature, it is also the third richest city in the nation, and the fourth richest in the Yahara region.
