The Twathe Udaun School (Kwang: Yù Laiq Udaun Twathe [jù lɛ̄ˀ údaʊ̃́ twátʰé]), is a private prestigious secondary education institute located in Twathe, Qonklaks.

History

Udaun School is the nation's first modernized school founded by Ëratsó I Olboros in 1762, who wanted his children to receive modern education in the heart of Qonklaks instead of being sent overseas, as Olboros princes often are. The quality of administration of Udaun School fluctuated over time, but its name became virtually synonymous with high-class education in Soltenna by the 19th century, having hired pedagogs from all over Sahar.

Since the 20th century, it was very common for the Soltennan elite to send their children to Udaun School for their secondary education, including the children of Dain Pain and Va Bung. Even during the kúúlist days, Udaun School remained one of the top most secondary education institutes famed for its rigorous curriculum and quality of teaching.

2002 Incident

At 10 p.m., 25 January 2002, members of the 801 Club organized a party with illegally-acquired alcohol and narcotics such as cocaine and methamphetamine in their dormitory. Numerous students and at least two teachers attended this social gathering, which soon transitioned into an orgy. At around 2 a.m. the next day, three students and one girl not attending Udaun were separately found naked and unconscious. This was not reported to authorities until around 7 a.m., where students leaving the party noticed that they were still lying on the floor unresponsive. Emergency services were called, and the victims were pronounced dead, having suffered an overdose. At this time, Hà Mein, a forty-five year old teacher employed at Udaun School, was found dead in a nearby room, apparently having been knocked unconscious by a lamp fixture torn from the wall. A sixth-year student was arrested three days later on a murder charge.
