|Linguistic classification:||One of Sahar's primary language families|
The Wethelian languages form a language family in Vaniua. A distinguishing characteristic of the family is coronals typically contrasting a dental-retroflex distinction. This trait is shared with the neighbouring Cathani, Rartakan, and Vaniuan languages, as well as the more distant Doktakur isolate.
