The Yeshub (Damserz: Daztar Yeşúbo, lit "Holy Expulsion"") was a conflict between the Terminian Empire, which wanted to establish and maintain a foothold in Vaniua, and a coalition of zarasaist vaniuan states which declared the conflict a Holy War.

Prelude

The Terminian Empire had expanded considerably into all the land surrounding ir6: Ekuosia and Akulanen, and Vaniua was an attractive target. The empire established itself in the island of in the Balak coast, but still seeked to expand its influence in Vaniua. Siyezan was considered an easy target, as it's relative isolation from the rest of Vaniua could prevent the other vaniuan powers from easily interviening.
However, plans to invade the Arashend Kingdom were considered risky, as it was not clear if such a conquest would work out or would be too costly to maintain and end up like the Letsatian settlements in the region.
Instability struck the Arashendi monarchy after king Ard III died without a heir. His brother, Jantay assumed the throne, to the protest of Ard's nephew, Jlamy. Court intrigue eventually led to a brewing rebellion, led by Jlamy, who asked the Terminians for help in exchange for trade benefits.
The rebellion started in Dajrip in March 1399, and soon marched to the port of Izmir, where Terminian reinforcements arrived. Their forces clashed with the loyalist army, led by Jantay IV, in the Battle of Sokmen in April, in which Jantay IV was decisively defeated. The loyalist army in the west was thrown into dissaray, and the rebels entered Chinevin in late April. Meanwhile, terminian forces kept arriving in the region.

Terminian invasion

In early may, Jlamy, now autoproclaimed Jlamy I, died under misterious circumstances, generally blamed on disease. The rebellion, now without a head, also fell into disarray, which allowed terminian forces to easily take over the region. By July 1399, the terminians had established themselves and split their forces into two fronts: a Western front led by X, which would advance up to Aldamir, the most important city in west siyezan, and then up to Sayad. The eastern front, lsd by Y, would conquer the rest of the Arashend region.
In the west, many cities fell without much of a fight as the local nobility was not able to coordinate their forces to put up any meaningful resistance. In the easy however, Damiz II became the leader of the Arashend Kingdom, and organised an army to defend the Juqashat region. Terminian advance was unchecked until the Battle of Neyunta in October 1400, which stopped the Terminians, who had to reorganize their armies to cross the rather hostile terrain to reach the Juqashat river. After which, during the winter, Damiz traveled to other realms in Vaniua to try to gain support in this "Holy War".

Consequences

After the war, the Great Horde annexed the Juqaşat region of Siyezan and established the Sajkhaman kingdom as a vassal state, with Eastern Zarasaism being imposed on all territories. In the west, the Kingdom of the Arashend was reformed as an ally of the Holy Shanyedate. During the war, both sides persecuted and killed Iovists, forcing them to either convert to Zarasaism or flee the region. The Holy Shanyedate forced Qasamism in the Arashend, causing rebellions by the remaining Iovists communities in the area.
