19th century

The first newspaper to appear in Asesha was a weekly called XXX ('The people'), in 1838. The first television was introduced on 12 June 1950, and was black-and-white until 9 April 1975, while 24-hour schedule television was introduced in Asesha the 10 December 1980 on 1Channel.

Television

State-owned Radio and Television Asesha operates in six free-to-air terrestrial local television channels licensed to broadcast in Asesha, as well as 20 radio channels.

Privately owned by YY1, XX1 is Asesha's current only satellite television provider, there are 200 channels to choose from at minimum amount of MCA 59.90 per month and at maximum amount of MCA 250.00 per month. XX1 had 30 radio channels, of which 17 are XX1-branded radio stations, of which nine of them are aviable via FM radio.

XX2 by YY2 is one of the Asesha's IPTV provider but to take the TV package, the customer must select at least on internet package from MCA 180 to MCA 400 per month.

After that , YY3 launched its IPTV services, in the late 2002, and now conducts trials with 1,000 selected households in CC1, CC2 and CC3

Mbù TV has become the first regional TV station for MBare in Asesha to have its own TV station.
