From Middle Terminian emindat, from Old Terminian emindahat. Equivalent to jemi + ljeat. The initial a- is unexpected; etymologically é- would be expected in this position; this change was likely shaped by analogy with other numerals beginning with <a>, such as arennad or arjad.
