Tanni games are a class of board games spread throughout southern Soltenna, Akulanen, the Draconic Islands, and northern Nagu. The distinguishing feature of this class of games is that they involve multiple piles of stones or tokens, which players take turns removing. In classical play, the last player to take a stone wins, but many games use misère rules, in which the last player to take a stone loses. Often, there are mechanisms (e.g. playing cards) by which players may add new stones or new piles of stones.
