Cainete II (Imperial Osveraali: Cainetē Cellim Osverā [kɐinɛ'te: kɛl'lɪm ɔsvɛ'ɾɑ:], Old Shyorian: Osfödatl Kenōti [ɔsfœ'dɑt͡ɬ kɛnə'ti], 7 July 1220 - 10 October 1351), also known as Cainete the Younger, was Queen of Usuva and Shyorisaech and the third Osveraali Empress from 1299 until 1314. She was third daughter of Avarin I and succeeded her elder sister Cainete I upon her death, but abdicated the throne in 1314 due to illness and the wish to avoid a conflict within House Osvera after her younger sister Avarin (who would replace her as Empress) had managed to put her into a disadvantageous position at court. She lived out her remaining days without taking any further part in politics but became an important source of information for historians through her detailed and extensive writings that give a throrough account of the life of high-born Usuvan noblewomen in medieval Atsiq.
