Bire-bire fly

The bire-bire fly is a kind of fly native to the area of Kawa mountains in the Confederation of Ebo Nganagam, they can also be found elsewhere in the Confederation of Ebo Nganagam and other places of North Baredina.

Bire-bire flies mainly feed on blood ps of animals, but they don't drain human bloods.

Bire-bire flies are generally harmless to human beings, but they spread the bire-bire fever, a kind of livestock disease that infects and kills many kinds of mammals including bovids, caprids, pigs, horses, camels, llamas and even cats and dogs, human beings are one of the few species of mammals that don't get the bire-bire fever.

Bire-bire flies are one of the numerous and common animals in the area of Kawa mountains, Ebo Nganagam people sometimes collect bire-bire flies, making them into fly patties and then cook and eat them, and bire-bire flies are a main source of proteins for local people.

The existence of bire-bire flies is probably one of the main reasons to explain why the use of animals are so rare among Ebo Nganagam people.
