: Well, it's easier to add pictures of famous people, especially if there's a Wikipedia page for them (since copyright and privacy is mostly a non-issue with Wikipedia's Commons system). I would say you can upload pictures of non-famous people too (ie. yourself, a friend, or just some really random picture you found on the internet), so long as you have the proper permission to do so (so either copyright permission and/or identity release permission) I'm no admin however, so I'd wait to hear definitively from them :p -- [[User:ManOfZeLego|ManOfZeLego]] ([[User talk:ManOfZeLego|talk]]) 14:35, 30 October 2015 (PDT)

Well, it's easier to add pictures of famous people, especially if there's a Wikipedia page for them (since copyright and privacy is mostly a non-issue with Wikipedia's Commons system).
