The Unified Homeland (Holy Sod: Bīoly Dardānþ [ˈbiːoly ˈdardaːnθ], Vernacular Sod: Bīal Darzą̄ [bai̯əl dəʶzõ]), is a political entity in Atsiq.

Etymology

History

Empire / Grand Unconquered Empire Ȳwy Glonkþ Kogmiloiētuty (934-1860) The Empire was a loosely-confederated union of distinct fiefdoms ruling most of Atsiq for almost a thousand years starting with the departure of Cananganamese traders and scholars from the continent.

Sod Republic Yreftōþuw Sodmy (1880-194?) A short period of experimental democracy after centuries of the Empire's decay. Crippled with inefficiency, corruption, and debt, the Republic soon began to be infested with extremist factions vying for control while the Empire's core territories began to be chipped away from both external and internal conflicts.

During this tumultous period, the Empire's traditionalist values began to be challenged by "Humanization" (Sod: Rytȳnzirapþ) as trade with the outside world began to grow. Balko-Kuulism (Sod: Balkas-Kūlmehruw) took its hold amongst the people during the waning days of the Republic, and a Balkist administration was voted into office in 1922.

The Mur-At, short for the Pan-Atsiq Workers’ Union (BMAG) (Holy Sod: Bīyr Mur-Atsȳksuly Gīngligyngsyw), a far-right ultranationalist faction led by Ktari Filini, seized power within the last remaning Sod-speaking territories through a popular coup against corruption within the Balko-Kuulist government. Aiming to completely remove Atsiq away from its self-portrayed decadence and Humanized aspects of society, the coup members were predominantly from the right-wing Sannist factions; though through her charisma, peasant background, and popular support from her successful putsch and her prior military experience, members of the various parties growingly accepted participation within her party. After several years of consolidating power and rebuilding the military through modernization and banking schemes, Filini’s dictatorship was secured.

Once Filini’s efforts to rebuild were well underway and her popularity certain, efforts were made to purge members of the party who were “less than reliable” or were seen as not extreme enough to meet the needs of the party. As a result, various offices of the military were forced to resign through various schemes to undermine their roles such as planting evidence that would accuse them of violating social norms or otherwise not being ultimately loyal enough to the nation. While much of this did not affect the rank and file, it was mostly a play made to get rid of the most disloyal members of the government.

The main goal of Filinism (Sod: Fīlinimehruw) was to completely isolate Atsiq from its perceived appropriation and exploitation from the outside world. Through this, she had to have complete control over the continent or else the continent would be in peril of being deeply rooted with the globalist schemes of Human society. The first steps were brought about through introducing state corporatism, benefiting companies that aligned with Filini’s goals for domination of the continent. The next steps were to devalue Humans that existed on the continent, by introducing segregating measures to slowly eliminate them from their involvement with monetary transactions on Atsiq. Most notable were the Economic Accords on the Act of Foreign Involvement in Business Management (Sod: Koglihurntorhiy Ingiþ aw Gbadunuw Ahiroras Ruwāldrapsa ru Hanthoronuw Koglyresyw (KIGARHK) which were implemented to completely outlaw the direct ownership and operation of a business by anyone with Human ancestry or relationship. This led to an action by paramilitary movements within the government’s association to act out on their own accord to openly mark these businesses for mobs and release the census work detailing what businesses were owned by who. Taking advantage of the political situation, Filini openly arrested members of the riots and progroms including members of her own party, where many would be detained and sent to work camps, with those in her worst opinion being deported into the sea.

Next in her plans the return of Sod territories, believing the Sod to be racially superior above the rest of Atsiq with her Dalar Supremacy doctrine, (Sod: Zirrilhuntuw Dālarsulmy), made various diplomatic exchanges to obtain previously lost territories with significant Sod populations. Eventually a border conflict broke out between the Sod Republic under Filini and the Duchy of Brist to the North. This conflict resulted in several lives on both sides being taken from the short conflict, but the Duchy of Brist gave in to the demands and handed over a corridor of territory and several towns of Sod ethnic majority. Taking advantage of the fact the border territory was now in her control, several months later when Brist was suffering a constitutional crisis her forces entered the duchy, forcifully annexing it to the surprise of the neighboring countries. This eventually led to a crisis followed by outright war as the Sod Republic stood against her contenders. Owing to its economic superiority and early preparations, the Sod Republic swept across Atsiq eventually clearing out the last strongholds by 1937. Though not all of the governments were captured, many that were were liquidated with Sod forces being outright successful in their conquest, with Filini claiming the early successes were proof that the Sod people were superior to any other.

Once the conquest was completed, Filini and her ministers began the Commissar Program (Sod: Nuwhaldratiglury Anōþ), whereupon the various duchies would be divided and separated into economic administrations as part of the slow transfer to state capitalism. The most notable of these commissariots were the Duchy of Hladmor-Batler whose role was to utilize the coastline for matters of oil exploitation and supporting the fishing industry to supply Sod’s hinterlands with food as the continent began to suffer from blockade actions from Cananganam who was supporting the previous governments-in-exile. However, Cananganam was in no position to make a land invasion due to the extent of the supply lines involved. This blockade would only last 6 years before the GEW would break out forcing Cananganam to focus elsewhere.
