Eiyrnas Yenán: E’jérnas /eʔjəɹnɐs/, was the predominant religion in the greater Yerlan region. After a revitalization attempt in 1921 CE, it is now a minority religion with roughly 1800 speakers in the Joint Republic of Yerlan. Followers of Eiyrnas, or Eiyrnis Yenán: E’jérniss /eʔjəɹniːs/, worship a supreme deity, Eiyr while also optionally worshiping other deities alongside Eiyr.
Etymology
The word Eiyrnas comes firstly from the most worshiped deity in the greater Yerlan area, Eiyr, whose name came from an ancient word, anir* meaning 'grand' or 'great' before eventually becoming synonymous with 'god'. The remainder of the word Eiyrnas comes from another ancient word, nus* meaning 'gift' or 'blessing'. Therefore the full word Eiyrnas can be best translated as '
