Erdu (Erdkol: Erþu [eyrθu]), officially the Republic of Erdu (Erdkol: Hennfine Erdu [xe̞n:finey eyrθu]), is a country located in central Alpa. Its neighbouring countries are Nordjaelm, Tsaba and Dina.

Erdu is an unitary semi-presidential republic. The head of state is the President, elected every 7 years, and the head of government is the Chancellor of the Republic. There are five fundamental laws that together form the constitution.
Parliament
The unicameral parliament, Hennfine Sotas, is the supreme legislative authority. It consists of 42 members selected with a mixed-member proportional representation. Members of the parliament are elected every 3 years.
