The Kashawan Palace (Koman: Qašawan; Khashawan; Pronounced [xäʃ.'βän], lit. Great White Fortress) or White Fort (Koman: Šawan; Shawan) is a historical and one of the former imperial residences of the Asharids, located in the Imperial Citadel of Samadar, the complex and its surroundings now serve as a museum with some parts restricted for religious and yearly events.
