The Lidder music festival is an annual classical music festival held in Degveneth, Notzel, it usually lasts 7 days and starts at the first day of the Month of Veder. The festival is named after Lidder Men-Ebith, one of the most important entrepreneurs and philanthropists in Notzel born in Degveneth.

The first festival was held in Veneth Riverside Park in 1921 with the sponsorship of Lidder Men-Ebith. Since then the festival has grown and moved to multiple venues, including the streets. Now it has become one of the largest and most important music festivals in Notzel.

Lidder Piano Competition

The Lidder Piano Competition is a piano competition held in Degveneth, Notzel as a part of the Lidder Music Festival. It was initiated in 1926 and has been held every five years since then. The competition is currently organized by the Lidder Men-Ebith Foundation of Arts.

Lidder Piano Competition is one of the most prestigious competitions in classical music in Notzel, while the prize for the winner in the competition is meager and only values around 100 Xayna, the competition often launches the careers of its winners overnight through major concert dates and lucrative recording contracts, and many notable pianists of classical music in Notzel were winners of the Lidder Piano Competition. The most recent winner has been Xamir Men-Amiz in 2023.
