Maunwe cards are the classic playing card type of Qonklaks.
Maunwe cards come in 4 suits: graphs, crosses, toothpicks, and triangles. Each suit has numbers ranging from 1 to 9. Each combination of number and suit occurs 4 times in a normal deck. There is also a devil card.
Games
Kai is a card-shedding game played with maunwe cards, in which players compete to form high scoring combinations.
Zur is a Karduvic game played with maunwe cards, where players compete to reach a value of a card drawn from the top of the deck.
Izind is a competitive patience game which may be played with maunwe cards.
Emona is a kwat-like gambling game played with maunwe cards.
Taongio ma is a tanni game played with maunwe cards.
Seseniyo is a Yachiroese game played using maunwe cards.
Sathazobus is a Maithic game played with a deck of Muteke cards. While it does not use maunwe cards, the Muteke deck is derived from maunwe, and the game is believed to have been derived from Kai.
