Zbezhanska (Native language: Zbežãska, IPA: /zbeʒãska/), officially the The Most Victorious, Stalwart and Bountiful Duchy of Zbezhanska, is a country located in southern Atsiq, around the Ton river valley. Its closest neighbors are Ivorsul. The archipelago has for centuries been home to the Danshahi people, a community of island dwellers known for their unique religion based around the worship of the elements of Nature. The country is also known as a loyal ally and friend of Qonklaks, who functioned as an adoptive parent to Danshapu following the end of centuries of isolationism.

Etymology

The name comes from the verb "danshaja" meaning "to serve". The people believed themselves to be servants of the elements, and thus called themselves "Danshahi" or "servants". The -hi suffix, meaning "people", was replaced with the -pu suffix, meaning "land" to form the name of the country, literally meaning "Land of the servants".
