Etymology

Puulsuwa is Achiyitqan for "West-place."

History

Puulsuwa was part of the independent country of Tesktoso'et until its merger with Achiyitqana in 2009.

Geography

Puulsuwa is almost entirely comprised of low, flat tundra, with some small mountains on its northern peninsula that host small permanent ice caps.

Climate

It is extremely cold in the winter and has a brief cool summer.
