Piringia (IPA: /pɪɹɪndʒia/, Native language: Piringa, IPA: /piriŋa/), officially the Insular Kingdom of Piringia, is a country located in Soltenna, south-west of Pulehono, east of Pakunel. It is an absolute monarchy that was reasonably historically isolated. Terminia came in contact with Piringia towards the 1400's, converting them from a local paganism to Pashaism.
Etymology
The native name Piringa, contrary to popular belief, does not come from Proto-Pringian Fryqinxdhcdxi, /fryʔiŋdʰəði/, which refered to the Varkanic people, but rather from Vöryjcnxnaq, /vøryjəŋnaʔ/, which was the name of their earth deity, and later came to symbolise the land on which they lived.
