The Huq Kai (Kwang: Huq Kai, IPA: [hūˀ kɛ́]), translated as the Blood-Red Lightning, and commonly known as the BRL, was a major paramilitary organization active in the Qonklese Republic, and later in the Qonklese Empire. It grew from a small squadron of a hundred men in 1919 to one of the most feared forces of terror across Soltenna in the 1940s.
