The Iovist Calendar is the primary calendar used in most of Iovist Ekuosia. Its point of origin is the supposed date of birth of the Prophet Iovi, making the current year 3208. It is a solar calendar with 365 days in each year apart from leap years, in which there are 366 days. Each year consisting of thirteen months split into 28 days. Every year on New year there is a special day which has no day of the year, it falls between Viries 28 and Spilia 1 of the following year and marks the end of the old year and beginning of the old- though it is still counted as part of the previous year. Every leap year there is another special day of the year called the day of the spirits which also has no day of the week. It falls between Firiden 27 and Firiden 28.
