Kazan (Balak: Kazan Kazan [kɑˈzɑn]), officially the State of Kazan (Balak: Kazan Dotağ Kazan Dotağ [kɑˈzɑn dɔˈtɑʁ̞]), is a landlocked state of Balakia, bordering the states of Hamavan, Balachik, Tarashik, and the Manatak Autonomous Territory, as well as the countries of Amaia and Zwazwamia. Its capital is Zumağdar. Kazan is the Xth largest of Balakia's 15 federal subjects, and the twelfth most populous, with over 2.5 million inhabitants.
