Mechin (Balak: Meçin Meçin [mɛˈt͡ʃɪn]), officially the State of Mechin (Balak: Meçin Dotağ Meçin Dotağ [mɛˈt͡ʃɪn dɔˈtɑʁ̞]), is an island state of Balakia. Its capital is Meçinan. Mechin is the Xth largest of Balakia's 15 federal subjects, and the fourteenth most populous, with over 1 million inhabitants.
