Kirni (/kiɹni/) is a city located in the northern coast of Lugida, or precisely, at the State of Delan. It is the second largest city in Lugida, holding roughly 5 million inhabitants. The city is known as the technological and scientific center of Lugida.
Etymology
The name, Kirni, is derived from the Lithian word, Kirnit, which translates to "beacon". Its name refer to the fact that Kirni is the Lugid beacon of science, or in other versions, literally a beacon of the sea, i.e. a lighthouse.
