The SSIS (Kwang: Shwèpyãi Bùkhein Kwaikũ zi Shì’nyouq, IPA: [ʃwèpjɛ᷄ˀ bùkʰeɪ̃́ kwɛ́ku᷄ˀ zí ʃìɲoʊ̄ˀ]), translated in State Security and Investigation Service, was the secret police force that was the main security service for the Supreme Commune of Qonklaks from 1950 until the fall of kúúlism in Qonklaks in 2005. It was the chief government agency that carries out internal security, intelligence and secret police duties.
The service was a military service governed by army laws and regulations, in the same fashion as the Soviet Army or the MVD Internal Troops. Its main functions were foreign intelligence, counter-intelligence, operative-investigatory activities. It also combating dissent, sedition, and anti-Qonklese activities. Today, most of the SSIS archives remain classified.
In 2005, after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the SSIS became the Security and Investigation Agency, under the jurisdiction of the Executive Mè.
