Tarashik (Balak: Taracik Taraşik [ˌtɑɾɑˈʃɪk]; Koman: Taracah Taraşah [tɒrɒ'ʂɒ:]), officially (Balak: Taracik Dotağ Taraşik Dotağ [ˌtɑɾɑˈʃɪk‿tɔˈtɑʁ̞]; Koman: Tarac Caheh Taraş Şaheh [tɒrɒʂ ʂɒhe:]), is a landlocked state of Balakia, bordering the states of Balachik, Kazan, and the Manatak Autonomous Territory, as well as the countries of Gushlia, Komania, and Torosha. Its capital and largest city is Shozasan. Tarashik is the Xth largest of Balakia's 15 federal subjects, and the fifth most populous, with over 6 million inhabitants.
Etymology
The state derives its name from that of the Torosh people, a subgroup of Komans who also inhabit the eastern portions of Komania.
