Its capital and largest city is Shozasan. Tarashik is the Xth largest of Balakia's 15 federal subjects, and the fifth most populous, with over 6 million inhabitants.

Etymology

The state derives its name from that of the Torosh people, a subgroup of Komans who also inhabit the eastern portions of Komania.
