The Shelhan Union (Native language: Cerxarnavecz Riokúd), commonly known as Shelhania, is a country located on the northeast coast of Ystel, bordered by Kranxram and Mermelia at the west, and Saant at the south. Its capital and largest city is Ankorau, where most governmental processes are handled and more than 1 million people live. It is known for its immigration policies and social culture. It is a union of the territories that were part of the old Baronician Kingdom and surrounding territories like Kylmia and the Lomesuvan Kingdom. Its language, Shelhan, was semi-constructed to be an average of all the languages and dialects spoken in the region, with emphasis on Kranxramic and Baronician. Even then, the language still has various dialects, namely Lomesuvan and Dogican.
Shelhania is a Democratic Presidential Confederation led by the President Késerim Ánhkaén.
Etymology
The name Cerxarnav (or Cerxarnavecz Ryokúd) come from the Shelhan word for peace, cerxar, previously cerxe in Kranxramic. The name was chosen by the first President of the Shelhan Union, Énerhatoma Cken, before forming the Union.
