Ancient Iris was one of the earliest known ancient empires of Soltenna and the earliest known Rietic civilization. Centered on the capital city of Ingakar and its surrounding Acre basin, Ancient Iris at its peak spanned much of modern Kadya and Riyana, as well as small parts of Lugida and Qonklaks. The empire exercised significant influence across much of Soltenna east of the Cuáma River, including the proliferation of the Iris language as the dominant trade language.
