The Tazirad Confederation (Koman: Şâkhara Tazirad, Koman pronunciation: [ʂɒ:x.rä täzir'äd]) was a loose confederation made up of 3 member states: Araman, Komania, and Torosha — later divided into 2 entities during the Internal Wars. The confederation was initially created as a defensive pact during the aftermath of the White War but diverged towards an association of states by 1905.
The Confederation consisted solely of representatives from member states, together, these formed the Confederal Council, which functioned as the only organ of the association, with yearly gatherings for consensus on pressing issues. All member states ultimately presided over the council, and lacked any head of state, as it was not a state. In this sense, the confederation was essentially a state alliance whose major objective was to guarantee military and economic cooperation amongst its constituent states. The confederation aimed to serve as a defensive alliance against foreign powers, thereby safeguarding the sovereignty of its members.
