Sahar (English pronunciation: /səˈhɑː/ or /səˈhɑr/), also known as Ešgal (English pronunciation: /ˈɛʃɡɑːl/ or /ˈɛʃɡəl/), is the name of the only inhabitable planet in the solar system and the home planet of all the countries and nations of the CWS Planet project.
Etymology
Both names are taken from Sumerian. The word sahar means “earth, soil, dust” (Akkadian eperu); and the word ešgal means “earth, land, underworld” (Akkadian erşetu).
Various languages spoken on Sahar have different names for the planet. See Names of Sahar for more.
