Located near the Vaniuan urheimat, Iluran is inhabited by Vaniuans since 3000 BCE. After the conquest of Iluran by Qasam's Kingdom, and the rise of a Sylazic khanate after, ancestors of modern Iluranis intermixed with Sylazic speakers and adopted their language. The khanate was later invaded by the [[Sunrise Horde]] and disintegrated into small principalities, with Sylazic nobility gone. A few centuries later, Ilurani principalities were unified, creating the Kingdom of Iluran. The kingdom remained isolated from the rest of Vaniu, occasionally facing raids by Vanoshans. The later kingdom entered the Vos sphere of influence, and fought in its side during the [[White War]]. A [[Sannism|Sannist]] revolution in 192X ended the kingdom, influenced by similar revolutions in [[Vosan]] and [[Khezan]].
