In 1462, King Ynt II rose to the throne after his father Caese I's death, aged just 14, which got him the nickname of "the Young". Needing a queen, as was required by law, he quickly married his second-cousin Kajiðan Vormud. Ynt's younger brother Dannaxi was incredibly jealous of him, as he had always loved Kajiðan. He ended up having his king brother assassinated in 1469, before he and Kajiðan could have any children, making Dannaxi the next in line for the crown. He then married Kajiðan.
Dannaxi reigned as Dannaxi I until 1491, when a young woman named Dannyn of (Name) revealed herself to be the late king Ynt II's daughter. She'd been born in 1469, mere weeks before her father's assassination, after which her mother gave her to one of her court ladies. Dannyn raised an army to take the throne by force, but not before negociating with her uncle. Dannaxi promptly refused to give up the throne, and had Dannyn arrested. She was quickly broken out by her men in the Storming of Canniz Castle. This sparked an all-out war, which was won by Dannyn and her army. She took the crown and had her uncle executed.
Dannyn only ruled for 4 years until 1496, when she was poisoned by Yhyn, her first cousin once removed. He became king in her place, as Dannyn was not wed (the law only required kings to have a queen, not the other way round). He was already old at the time, which got him the nickname of "the Elder".

The Ittohari climate is generally temperate oceanic (Cfb), remaining generally uniform across the country, except in some northern provinces where it's more mediterranean (Csb). Ittohar (Juvensi: Ituhär [ɪ.tʰʊ.ˈɛɾ], Sycian: Ittohær [ɪ.tʰo.ˈɦæɾ]), officially the Kingdom of Ittohar, is a sovereign state located in South Baredina. It borders Norjihan to the north and Settia and the Holy Xhovian Empire to the south. Despite having a population of only around 7 million, its rather large economy and lax immigration policies make it generally considered to be a tax haven by its neighbours.
Etymology
The name "Ittohar" comes from Sycian Ittohær, which itself comes from the Proto-Baredan word *utsahez, meaning "region" or "realm", whence Juvensi itşär, "province".
History
Early History
Medieval
Ittohar was originally ruled by a Konnor under the Grand Viceroyalty of Istan until 1401 when the Treaty of Tel Duvemuz divided up Isugza after the War of the Three Armies. This finally set up a sovereign ittohari state.
The Silver War (1491-1492)
