The Tuŋñi languages are a branch of the Mañic languages, containing the Ndxiixun and Nichoh languages, which have co-official status in Quaxin Xun.
Shared innovations of these languages include palatalization of liquids, development of labiovelars from Cw clusters, and radical cluster simplification which co-occured with the development of ballistic syllables, a trait also shared with the neighboring but not closely related Xuni Kwang language.
