Foeian (Füzöb; Fözüq, [ˈɸœzyˀ]) is a Foeic language within the Western Vaniuan branch of the Vaniuan language family.

Classification

Linguists classify Foeian language as a Vaniuan language, specifically as a Foeic language belonging to the Western Vaniuan branch of the Ryamaian language family. The closest relative to the Foeian language is the Pucym language, spoken in Aq, Köq and Ö regions.

Foeian is divided into two dialects: Northern Foeian and Southern Foeian. Standard Foeian is based on the Southern dialect of the city of Cöqsü.
