The Darkinic languages form a small language family in Soltenna. The most widely spoken Darkinic language is Qgam, official language of the country of the same name.
Darkinic languages are typically fairly analytic, with very few grammatical inflections. However, much of the native vocabulary was derived with extensive use of affixes.
The languages typically confirm to V2 word order or some modification therof. There is a tendency toward head-final structure, including postpositions and clause-final conjunctions.
Darkinic languages have no gender in both nouns and pronouns.
